Service Manager / Customer Care Manager
Based in Leeds
£45,000 + Package
The Company:
A global market leader in the design, manufacture, and aftersales service of industrial process machinery. This well established business has a fantastic reputation in the industry for a quality product and first class aftersales service.
They have a network of regionally based engineers that cover their UK customers, and a team of office based of technical support engineers and service coordinators to support their engineers in the field, and to liaise with customers to organise and plan scheduled work and to respond to emergency breakdowns.
The Role:
Working predominantly out of the company’s head office in Leeds the Service Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and leading a team of service coordinators and field service engineers in order to provide an excellent service to customers and to hit key service level agreements
- Planning and scheduling routine machinery servicing
- Ensuring that emergency breakdowns are attended to in a timely fashion, and that the engineers have all the equipment and parts required to do the job
- Manage the training and development of coordinators and engineers
- Drive continuous improvements across the department
- Stakeholder management
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will be an experienced service manager/customer care manager with experience of managing a team of engineers
Ideally you will have experience in managing office-based service schedulers
You must have come from an engineering/electrical/mechanical or machinery type background to be considered for this role
You will be a well organised individual and a strong problem solver
It is important that the service manager is a strong communicator and can build relationship with customers, coordinators and engineers.
