Business Overview
Our client is a rapidly expanding company delivering design, manufacture, installation and commission of conveyors and materials handling equipment. Despite the constraints of the COVID 19 pandemic they have continued a sustained period of growth and have delivered multiple large construction and refurbishment projects. As such there is now a requirement for a Site Fitter / 360 Telehandler Operator to support a site modification project at an energy from waste site.
The Role of Site Fitter/360 Telehandler Operator includes:
- Modification of existing process plant and upgrade of conveyor system
- Replacement fitting of motors, drives and bearings etc
- Steel erecting, reading drawings and working to plans
- Operating 360 telehandler as required, safely
The Requirements for Site Fitter/360 Telehandler Operator are:
- Telehandler 360 licence
- Btec NVQ L3 Mechanical Engineering/Fitter
- CSCS / ACE card / CCNSG – Site Safety passport required
- Site experience in heavy engineering operations and construction environments
- Pipefitting ½-2 inch threaded/galvanised & PTFE sealed - would be beneficial
- Steel erection/rigger experience/tickets – additional benefit
