Site Maintenance Manager

Based in West Yorkshire

£55K-£60K + Car + Bonus

The Company:

A well-established speciality chemical manufacturing business in West Yorkshire are looking for an experienced maintenance manager to join their senior management team. The site has been growing from strength to strength for a number of years now and significant investment in new plant and upgrades to existing plant is helping them maintain market leader status.

This is a really exciting time to join the business as they are putting strategies in place to help them to move forward, and this role is pivotal to that growth.

The Role:

The Site maintenance manager role will be challenging and diverse and many parts of the role will be built around the successful candidate who will have the opportunity to really make it their own.

Working as part of the senior leadership team this position is to help develop the maintenance strategy across the whole site, and to take responsibility for all maintenance add reliability matters.

  • To lead and develop a multi-disciplined team of maintenance engineers and technicians
  • Manage compliance to company and industry standards
  • To help shape the structure of the department moving forward, looking at recruitment, retention, and succession planning
  • Be involved in the team that review and approve Capital Projects
  • Plan how the maintenance budget is spent
  • To drive a culture of continuous improvements

                                                                                                              

Required Experience:

  • The site maintenance manager will be an experienced leader within a similar field.
  • Apprentice trained and/or degree qualified depending on which route you may have taken
  • You must have experience of managing multi-disciplined teams within a high hazard manufacturing environment, ideally chemical manufacturing
  • You will have experience of applying maintenance and reliability strategies to complex systems
