About the role

As a toolmaker you will be responsible for ensuring that high quality parts are continually and repeatedly produced from injection moulding machines.  

Responsibilities include:

-        Preparing and setting up injection moulding tools.

-        Making parameter changes.

-        Repair and modification of injection mould tools.

-        Utilising workshop machinery, including lathes milling machines.

-        Utilising laser and TIG welding techniques.

About you

To be considered for this role you should have experience working as a toolmaker ideally from within plastic injection moulding. It would be beneficial if this was from working in a large-scale production environment, however not essential.

-        Apprentice trained within engineering.

-        Experience using workshop machinery e.g., lathes & milling machines.
