Trainee Recruitment Consultant

ATA Recruitment are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Leicester. Initially the role will undertake a six month project, in which you will be responsible for building a database of candidate and clients within the maintenance sector as we prepare to expand in to the South West. This project will run alongside your role training, allowing you to ease into the Trainee Recruitment Consultant position with a huge amount of knowledge and experience to help ensure your long-term success.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start/develop your career in recruitment. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will:

  • Receive first-class sector and recruitment training, on an ongoing basis
  • Work alongside established Consultants to aide your development
  • Source candidates within the technical engineering sector
  • Create your own network of candidates – through advertising, job boards and professional networking sites
  • Develop relationships with existing and new clients - understanding their needs and advising them on suitable candidates and market trends
  • Oversee the entire recruitment cycle including finding candidates, assessing their skills, matching them to the job and the interview process
  • Act as a mediator in negotiating with your clients and candidates to secure a sale - the placement of your candidate
  • Achieve sales targets
