Our Search Processes


Our proven executive search processes are second-to-none, ensuring that we find the right person for your business in a professional and timely manner. The steps involved in our executive search campaigns are listed below.


We will begin by spending time with you and your business to develop a thorough understanding of the brief and develop an action plan going forward. We will discuss target companies and candidates, and once all parties are happy we will launch the project.


The first phase of our executive search process is identifying and screening. We will use every tool we have to find the perfect match to your business and brief, including our exclusive database of over 45,000 engaged candidates and our personal network, alongside major job boards and traditional routes. This initial work will identify a long list of candidates, which we will then thoroughly screen to develop a shortlist.


After identifying the long list, we will meet with candidates face-to-face to assess suitability. This includes an assessment of experience and skills, as well as values and motivations. We will then obtain references, and when we're certain we have identified the best of the best, the shortlist will be presented to the client.


The next step in the process is client interviews. You will meet the candidate face-to-face and conduct a thorough interview alongside Thomas International Psychometric Testingto help you make your decision. We will work with both client and candidate to organise second interviews where applicable, and will coordinate feedback from both parties.

Offer and Accept

Second interviews will take place where applicable, and we will have an in-depth discussion with the client about their thoughts and feedback. If the candidate is successful, we will manage the offer and negotiation period on behalf of the client and candidate.


The service doesn't stop when your new hire starts. Our on-boarding service includes keeping in touch with the candidate pre-start and obtaining feedback from them and the client following the first few weeks in post.
