My background in recruitment
I plunged headfirst into my career, managing teams in the lively hospitality industry and honing those essential people skills along the way. It was enjoyable, but those 4 am wrap-ups had me reconsidering. So, I was recommended to try the Energy sector, where my career took a specialised turn. Mastering customer service, fine-tuning my sales game, and providing consulting throughout, helping customers make the right moves became my thing. But you know me – I needed more than just 'how can I help'. That's when I set my sights on guiding professionals through career moves. Fast forward two years into the recruitment game, and I'm hooked. Now, I work with customers who understand they get more than just a recruiter; they get an expert.

The best part of my job
The most satisfying part of my job is working with a candidate one year and then recruiting for them the next. It's great to see careers flourish, and it's even better when they come to you and ask for help.
What I do when I'm not in the office
Actually, outside of office hours, I'm a dairy farmer. When I'm not behind a desk, I'm out tending to over 300 cattle. This is my relaxation time.
