About the role As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on heavy and automated plant machinery, including, robotics, presses, hydraulics, rotating equipment and more. Mechanical fault finding using various methods Swapping mechanical components like for like & Stripping and rebuilding of mechanical components. Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Welding and fabrication. Utilising the Piranha CMMS. The company are working towards making the site more efficient so are adopting LEAN manufacturing processes on site, therefor you will be involved project work and making production improvements to achieve TPM.
