Part of a major UK group with a history dating back to the 1960s – and products with origins in the 19th century – this organisation operates 15 sites across the UK and continues to invest heavily in its people, equipment and facilities. This particular site is one of the group’s best-performing operations, producing over 90 million units annually. The Role As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum plant reliability and performance. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. If mechanically biased, the ability to work safely within a control panel and carry out electrical maintenance tasks independently. A logical, methodical and out-of-the-box approach to fault finding. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience within a particular manufacturing industry isn't essential. Engineers from a wide range of factory and manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
