About the role As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on heavy and automated plant machinery, including, robotics, presses, hydraulics, rotating equipment and more. Mechanical fault finding using various methods Swapping mechanical components like for like & Stripping and rebuilding of mechanical components. Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Welding and fabrication. Utilising the Piranha CMMS. The company are working towards making the site more efficient so are adopting LEAN manufacturing processes on site, therefor you will be involved project work and making production improvements to achieve TPM. About you To be considered for this maintenance engineer role you should be/have the following: Experience working within a factory environment. Strong mechanical knowledge Be comfortable working in an industrial or heavy environment. Strong knowledge of H&S You should hold a recognised level 3 (or above) mechanical qualification city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC. About the role This Reliability engineer vacancy will offer a varied and challenging working environment. Proven track record of making improvements to machine reliability. Proactive mindset, able to take accountability for tasks and projects. Strong fault finding and practical maintenance experience on both pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Recognised engineering qualification, to level 3 or above. Why join?
