The systems are bespoke and skid mounted compromising of a combination of heat exchangers, pressure vessels and the associated pipework and instrumentation required. The projects the company deliver can range anywhere from £50,000 - £100,000 (stand alone specialised equipment) up to £1 Million plus (full bespoke systems). The company employ 800 globally and have been on an incredible growth journey in recent years seeing their turnover grow from £30 million to £80 million. The company’s ambition does not stop there with plans to double their turnover in the next three to four years. In the UK the business focuses on sales and design with 30 employees. The business has identified a new target market in Petrochemical/Oil &Gas and as part of their strategic plan are now looking for a Sales Manager to join the business and establish and grow this revenue stream. The key focuses for the Sales Manager role will be: Fleshing out the 30/60/90 day plan in more detail as you begin to understand the market and task at hand. Generating RFQs for systems Building up cost proposals for bids – as the role grows the company aim to provide support in this area Leveraging cross over selling opportunities with existing customers. Researching target customers for new business opportunities. Attending industry trade shows to network and generate new contacts. Approaching key points of contact in customers to sell the business and its capabilities (typically engineers, buyers and supply chain leads) Ensuring you are winning projects at target profit levels (minimum 15%) The Candidate To be successful in your application for this Sales Manager role you will need to have a sales background within: Technical sales within the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry Or to have sold systems containing heat exchangers of pressure vessels Or to have sold any type of skid based mounted process related systems.
