The project The current project involves the development of a mobile test rig for a leading aerospace client, designed to enable precise and reliable testing. The system features two integrated units, with a hydraulic press handling the controlled transfer of fluid into the product. Engineered for mobility, the rig can be easily moved using wheels or a forklift, providing flexibility on-site. Key components include four electric motors, two storage tanks, manifolds, pressure transducers, and advanced instrumentation to ensure accurate performance and monitoring. This role of a Project Engineer will include the following: Act as the technical point of contact, overseeing the project as it progresses from its current phase through to build and delivery. Lead regular client meetings, address technical queries, and ensure all components meet required ATEX certification standards. Coordinate with key stakeholders, manage project timelines, and track progress using Gantt charts. Take responsibility for producing and compiling all technical documentation, including P&IDs, sequences of operation, FDS/URS, calculations, and design specifications. Ensure all quality, regulatory, and compliance documentation is completed, including ATEX approvals, QMS requirements, and associated regulatory submissions. Lead the technical aspects project from cradle to grave and resolve any issues as they arise The Project Engineer must possess the following skills & experience: Previous lifecycle project engineering experience within a highly regulated fluid process environment such as Aerospace or Petrochemical.
