This Role:

As a commissioning engineer, your role will include traveling around the UK to customer sites, commissioning various types of pneumatic systems and machinery. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring customer machinery is installed to required manufacture specifications.    
  • Offering technical support and guidance to project installation/engineers.
  • Creating and implementing test procedures.
  • Soft and hard start of machinery.
  • Snagging, fault finding and fault rectification.
  • Monitor systems, analysing data and compiling commissioning reports.
  • Implement machine operational training for customer.
  • Implementing training for maintenance staff.

What our client are looking for?

  • Previous experience working as a commissioning engineer from any background.
  • Experience working within a customer facing environment.
  • Mechanical biased with electrical competence, confident fault finding in panels, using a multimeter.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate to different teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and sometimes abroad.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends.
