Electrical Design Engineer – Peterborough
£35 p/h - £40 p/h (Umb/Ltd)
6-month contract
Hybrid working with site visits.
Panel Design and Modification/Concept Design/Power Calculations
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- You will be receiving the specification from the Electrical Engineer whereby you will be creating the detailed design.
- This will involve the panel layout designs – so the placing of the components and the wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, schematics, and I/O’s.
- You will then be tasked to create associated documents including manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials, and parts lists.
- You will be the point of contact for the workers on the shop floor during the entire build process.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Electrical Design experience
- Proactive – be able to identify and investigate during the design phase.
- AutoCAD experience – in regard to the creation of drawings/layouts/documentation.
- From a food background ideally or General Engineering
- Industry experience with designing and modifying Panels.
- Can design electrical systems – take a concept to design.
