Job Role – Electrical Improver
Patch – Nationwide
Salary - £25k - £30k + OT (OTE £35-40k)
Hours – Mon – Friday 40hrs
The Company
Our Client is a special purpose machinery manufacturer generating £multimillion annual sales, supplying products to customers across the UK. Our Client has been established in the UK for over 50 years providing a total turnkey solution to their customers, while also continuing to provide upgrades and retrofits to modernise existing kits. With a solid reputation within the UK our client supplies to a wide range of businesses in different industries such as including Power, Utilities, Food and Beverage.
As our client has continued to grow, they are now looking to strengthen their UK installation team and are now in the market for a highly experienced installation engineer with a bias towards electrical engineer. If you have a proven track record in either installation, or service installation or commissioning background.
The Role
The electrical Improver will be assisting the Electrician with the installation work of the electrical cabinets and control systems. This would include assembling cabinets and panels, pulling cables, putting up trunking and transfer boxes, general drilling, cutting and fixing.
The duration of the installations will depend on the machinery being installed. With the largest installations usually being carried out as part of a team, especially on the larger machines.
As an electrical improver this role would provide a clear pathway to become a fully qualified electrician.
The Candidate
To be successful within this role:
- Electrical Qualifications are desirable
- Experience working as an Electrician’s Mate or Improver
- Full UK Driving License
- Must have an ECS Card.
