With 12 Field Service Engineers spread out across England, they are now looking to add in three additional Field based Engineers, plus 3 additional Tech Support Engineers.

The Role

The Field Service Engineer will be home based and will attending Customer’s sites for new installations, breakdowns or Planned Services. With the Field Service Team spread out equally across the country, the business try and keep Engineers as local as possible to allow them to get to customer’s site quickly, however there would be situations where the Field Service Engineers will need to travel further afield if other more local Engineers are not available.

The Field Service Engineer will need to be able to fault find with a multimeter and read electrical drawings, then change any faulty or worn components. Mechanically, the Field Service Engineer will need to be able to use hand tools and drills, and change out any mechanical components like belts, pulleys, sprockets, and motors.

  • A recognised Electrical Qualification
  • Experience servicing or maintaining industrial, automated, or manufacturing equipment
  • The ability to fault find with a multimeter and read electrical drawings

The business has an excellent training program for all new employees which includes two weeks of hand on product training at their Repair Centre, plus a further month shadowing one of their Senior Engineers out on the road.
