Lead Controls Commissioning Engineer
Humberside / East Yorkshire
3-6 month contract / Outside IR35
Rate - £375 - £400p/d (Maximum 10 hour days)

I am recruiting for a well-established world leading design & manufacturing organisation. Due to ongoing projects in the business, they are looking for a Lead Controls Commissioning Engineer on an interim basis. Initially there is a commitment of 3 months, but this is very likely to be extended due to project scope for a successful candidate:
For the position of Lead Controls Commissioning Engineer, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
- Able to take ownership of commissioning and delivery amongst controls team
- Commissioning of complex systems across UK & Europe
- PLC Systems Pre-Commissioning, including device set up and configuration
- Documentation of commissioning activity, integrated FAT, SAT etc.
- Systems Software and functional commissioning
- Report into the Project Manager & Engineering Manager
The successful Lead Controls Commissioning Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Strong appreciation of automation solutions and bespoke handling machinery
- Comes from a design background with strong understanding of LLC design
- Willing to travel anywhere in UK & Europe
- Hands on Siemens Tia portal experience in a materials handling capacity
- An astute professional, strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Qualified to degree level – automation/software/mechatronics preferable
- A team player, who strives for excellence
