About the company
We, at ATA, are working with one of the countries finest manufacturing groups in the heart of the north Leicestershire area. Our client, a longstanding leader of the industry is responsible for a special purpose-built site which produces an annual output capacity of 100 million units which is achieved consistently. This site has been active and open for over 10 years and stands as a proud part of the community. The company is a proud employer of over 2000 individuals across 15 different manufacturing plants with 60 employees on site at this particular location. As expected, our client has been undergoing a successful period of growth with vast plans to invest across the active manufacturing plants and upgrading machinery to match the standard of their kiln, 245 metres long making it the largest and most energy efficient pieces of machinery in Europe.
Our client is searching for a maintenance engineer of electrical proficiency to join their team.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer, specialising in the electrical field, your responsibilities will include but not be limited too
- Fault Finding
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance on automated plant machinery
- Reading and interpreting of electrical drawings.
- Electrical installation
About You
To be in consideration for this role as a maintenance engineer you should be/possess the following:
- Possess the capability to find faults with electrical equipment
- Experience within a factory setting
- A strong communicator who is level-headed
- Experience with PPM and project work
- Happy to work on a days and nights’ rotation
- Hold a recognised level 3 (or above) electrical qualification city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC
