Shift: Sun-Thurs Nights (5:30-2:30)

Our client is a strong industry player within the packaging industry. As a multi-million pound company, they package food for the biggest retailers in the UK! The client has an intimate maintenance function and is currently looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to add to their team. Our client produces 70,000 products per day, streamlined by excellent automated machinery for you to get working with straight away!

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Replacing mechanical components like-for-like such as belts, bearings, actuators, shafts, sprockets etc.
  • Working on automated conveyors, washers, cutting machines, packaging machines, metal detectors, depositors etc.
  • Assisting with PPM checks and performing reactive maintenance
  • Confidently dealing with electrical components such as inverters, contactors, relays, sensors etc.

About You

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:

  • A recognised mechanical/electrical qualification
  • Experience within an engineering environment
  • A sound understanding of key mechanical and/or electrical components
  • Confidence working independently or as part of a team
