Our client has been operating for over 80 years, and during this time have created an annual turnover north of £500million. As well as this our client has multiple sites around the UK from North to South and produces over 1.6 million tonnes annually. This exemplifies how our client is in a very strong position within the manufacturing industry, as well as this it highlights how the firm is now currently on of the biggest producers in the whole of Europe.

Furthermore, our client has a large focus on being able to continually invest into their multiple sites and engineers with continual training and newer machinery for its multiple sites. This has been shown by the firm building a brand-new site in 2021 with it being one of the most technologically advanced sites in the world. This is, therefore, great opportunity for an engineer looking for stable and growing business in which to thrive within.

The Role

During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to work on either the mechanical or electrical elements of the machinery. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing ppm’s,
  • Reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work across a busy manufacturing site.
  • Hands on the work will be a mix of electrical and mechanical work.
  • You will need to be confident fault finding using a Multimeter.
  • Working on 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, packaging lines, and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
  • Fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through PLCs.

The Candidate

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you should have:

  • Experience working within a factory environment.
  • Must have a Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
