The client
My client is a market leading FMCG company that has been manufacturing for over 100 years. In this time they have grown to become one of the most recognised names in their field. They have several sites throughout the UK and have recently taken over a rival company and have expanded their production. They have an excellent staff retention record and a very good training programme and can offer a very stable career along with a good work life balance. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their team.
The role
The role of a maintenance engineer will be to perform planed and reactive maintenance on a variety of automated machinery. They have a good mix of old and new machines so there is always something to do. As they have a god mixture of machinery you will need to have a good level of multi skills. You will working on both electrical and mechanical components whilst performing root cause analysis and continuous improvements.

The candidate
To be considered for the role of maintenance engineer then you must have the following skills or attributes.
- Apprentice trained – NVQ Level 3
- Mechanical or electrical qualification
- Factory maintenance background
- FMCG Experience
