Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD 2D
I am recruiting for a well-established design project house who require a skilled Mechanical Design Draughtsperson to work out of their office in West Yorkshire, doing 3D modelling & 2D draughting mainly of steel structures into process & civil industries.
For the position of Mechanical Design Draughtsperson, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
- Design and detailing using Autodesk Inventor and 2D AutoCAD
- Structural steelwork design on medium to heavy welded structures
- Writing reporting and conducting surveys
- Report into the design team lead
The successful Mechanical Design Draughstperson will need to have the following attributes:
- Strong appreciation of structural steelwork and fabrications
- Expert in the use and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor &2D AutoCAD
- An astute professional, with the ability to excel within a design team
- Qualified to degree level (preferable) – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
