Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION: West Yorkshire

SALARY: £33,000 K - £37,000 K + overtime!!!

SHIFT PATTERN:  Double days shift pattern

THE COMPANY

We are currently searching for a mechanical maintenance engineer for a role based in West Yorkshire.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer in the heavy industry sector, dominating their market for over the past 80 years. They have recently invested over 5 million pounds into their site, bringing in new state of the art machinery.

THE ROLE OF A MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.

The job responsibilities will consist of:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance on factory equipment.
  • Diagnosing and reporting faults on machinery
  • Fulfilling PM and PPM duties.
  • Repairing or modifying mechanical components such as, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic, pneumatics etc…
  • Fault finding using schematics drawings.
  • Strong fault-finding skills.
  • Repairing and replacing mechanical components

THE IDEAL MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.

We are looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer who:

  • has completed their NVQ level 3 mechanical qualification or above
  • Has completed an apprenticeship.
  • Has experience working in heavy industry.
