14:00-22:00 Monday – Thursday & 11:00-18:00 Fridays + OT every other weekend
£34,000 + 25 days holiday + OTE £44,000
The Company
A leader in their field of manufacturing is currently looking to enhance their engineering team with the acquisition of a mechanically biased maintenance engineer/mechanical fitter. With an enormous growth and plenty of overtime earnings available, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the continuously growing company. They manufacture for numerous different sectors including but not limited to the automotive, construction and agricultural industries.
The Role
As a mechanical fitter/maintenance engineer with a mechanical bias your role will include:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Fault-find and repair mechanical breakdowns
- Maintain health and safety throughout
- Working on conveyors, slighting machines, laser machines, cutting equipment and much more
- Hydraulic and pneumatic work
About you
The ideal mechanical fitter/maintenance engineer would be:
- In possession of a engineering apprenticeship, qualification or equivalent
- Proactive and eager to learn/ attend training
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Wanting to progress - to a multi skilled maintenance engineer
- Able to work as part of a team
