About the Company:
We, at ATA, have the pleasure of working with one of countries finest building material manufacturers in the heart of Leicestershire. Our client is a large producer of various building components with strong market control. The site you will be working at is state of the art with a lifespan of only 4 years making it the second newest site in the UK. The company is the proud employer of 2100 happy employees over the 36 sites with 48 engineers working between the three large sites that occupy the same area.
Our client is searching for a maintenance engineer of the mechanical bias to bring their talents to the team.
The Role
As a maintenance engineer, specialising in the mechanical field, your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery including hoopers, mixers, conveyors, hydraulics packaging, kilns, and various large mixing and slicing equipment.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Work
- Installing new plant, designing and fabricating parts and structures
- Ensuring rigorous application of continuous improvement tools and techniques across all areas to ensure optimised performance in the facility
About You
To be considered for this for this fantastic role as a maintenance engineer you should possess the following:
- Experience with PPM Work
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with reactive maintenance
- Experience within a factory setting
- Flexibility and a good attitude are a must
- Advanced apprenticeship in engineering maintenance (mechanical), engineering manufacture (mechanical), mechatronics (mechanical) or equivalent
