Interim Payroll & Benefits Manager – Process Manufacturer
£20 - £25 per hour PAYE (£40k – 50k salary)
7 Months Contract (Inside IR35)
Based in Alfreton, Derbyshire – Immediate Start
This globally recognised business has continued to grow over the last 12 months and demand for their product is higher than ever before. This role is for a Payroll Manager to come and manage the payroll process and ensure that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner. If you are an experienced Payroll Manager with previous relevant experience, then please apply for this role immediately.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the relationship with the external payroll provider, HMRC, benefits and pension providers
- Ensure that weekly and monthly payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner for circa 600 employees
- Responsible for the expenses processed for all employees, ensuring payments are correctly processed
- Responsible for accurately maintaining payroll information and records in accordance with statutory requirements
- Support all internal and external audits as required
- Monitor and interpret any new legislation impacting payroll
- Administer the company car scheme and ensure all checks are completed including driving licences, insurance renewals and MOTs
- Control the benefit plans for private health, life insurance and pensions.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager
- Experience in completing payroll for many permanent employees
- Capable of managing the benefits and expense system within the business
- Previously worked within a high-volume labour business such as logistics or manufacturing
- Excellent communicator that can deal with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
