- £50k – £60K basic salary

The multi-million-pound manufacturing business has had YOY growth, with the business budgeted to organically increase sales by £10m in 2024 alone from this single site.
Currently, they are looking to recruit a Production Manager, they are looking to recruit a dynamic and hands-on Production Leader to join the team.

Key accountabilities for the position of Production Manager
- Managing all production activities efficiently and effectively
- Leadership and management of a designated team – support, mentor, coach, lead and manage.
- You will directly manage - operators, lead operators, and machine setters
- Responsible for, 121s, appraisals, absenteeism (with HR), performance management, objective setting and
- Leading & coaching the team and upskilling the team.
- Lead and manage all daily shift production and review shift performance, issues, output, bottlenecks and corrective measures
- Oversee input, output, control of H&S, quality standards, and production manufacturing
- You will also be responsible for reviewing KPIs related to – Safety, Quality, Scrap, H&S, OEE..
- Be able to develop and influence individual team members, ensuring that they are clearly aware of both their personal and their team objectives
Requirements for the position of Production Manager
- Either a Production Manager, Production Shift Leader, Manufacturing Manager, or a related role
- Ideal sectors – Plastics, injection molding, plastic extrusion, composite materials, cardboard/packaging manufacturing, foam, paper manufacturing, FMCG or any other continuous process manufacturing environment
- Exposure to lean and continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on H&S and Quality
- Effective communication and analytical skills & the ability to implement company products.
- Enhanced people management skills with the ability to change/embrace the culture.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
