**Site Fabricator / Plater**

 Location: Dartford/ Kent/ London

2-3 month Contract

£27.50-£32.50p/h DOE

Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)

Heavy Site Process/Engineering/Construction

Business Overview:

Our client is a reputable expanding privately owned company based out of Yorkshire, delivering design, manufacture, installation and commission of conveyors and materials handling equipment to heavy industries. As such there is now a requirement for a Site Fabricator / Plater to support a site modification and installation project through to completion and handover.

The Role of Site Fabricator / Plater includes:

  • Read and work from technical engineering drawings
  • Working on 6 metre silos, experience of column and beam
  • Welding on all supporting steel structures, walkways, gantries, and handrails etc
  • Burning, drilling, tacking, cutting, grinding, and modifying plate/steel
  • Welding thick plate and structural steel
  • Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work professionally on site at clients’ premises, being a key representation.
  • Work to a high-quality standard – ensuring all H&S procedures are followed.

The Requirements for Site Fabricator / Plater are:

  • Site safety passport required (i.e., CSCS card / CCNSG / Ace card)
  • Plater/welder time served apprentice trained etc
  • Experienced in heavy industry, conveying and materials handling equipment would be beneficial
  • Professional and approachable
  • Team player, attention to detail
