MIG Welder/Fabricator – Leicestershire                                    

13 weeks temporary to permanent

£14 p/h plus overtime rates

As a MIG Welder / Fabricator you will be responsible for the following:

  • MIG Welding of a wide range of bespoke systems and components
  • Fabrication of stainless steel using multiple machines including cutting machines, bending machines, stamping machines, grinders, welding machines and press machines
  • Using engineering drawings and general arrangement drawings
  • Handling various types of steel with thicknesses ranging from 1.2mm to 20mm.
  • Ensuring the finished product meets the specification and quality standards

The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • Previous experience in MIG welding
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Mastery of tools and equipment used in fabrication, such as welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capable of working on your own or in a team-based environment.
