Reflection on Charity 2022

ATA Recruitment

ATA Recruitment Charity Efforts 2022

Throughout the course of 2022, our Leicester office collaborated with Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and the Leeds office have been working with Leeds Baby Bank.

March was a busy month, with Adam Waite and Stewart Jackson taking on the Milton Keynes Half Marathon and the team playing a charity football match to raise vital funds and awareness for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. In June, a few employees from the Leicester office helped at Rainbows for the day, helping clean the garden and refurbish the donations room.

In September 2022, employees from both offices came together to conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks. The average time to master the peaks is about 12 hours, in the usual ATA way they went above and beyond with the first group finishing in 9 hours and 50 minutes and the second group in 10 hours 10 minutes. A very special achievement, truly well done to all involved.

In October, Stewart Jackson traded in his walking boots for running shoes to take on the Leicester Half Marathon. In true Stew fashion, his competitive nature took over and he also completed the Draycote Water Half Marathon to improve his time. Well done, Stewart!

To finish off the year, football fever had been spreading round both offices at ATA Recruitment. With this, the team decided to do a sweepstake with half of the money going to our chosen charities.

The ATA team have had another amazing year raising money for charity. The Leicester office managed to raise £1,415 for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, with the Leeds team raising £300 for Leeds Baby Bank.

Continuing our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy in 2023

We are happy to share that we will be continuing to put Social Responsibility at the forefront of our business in 2023. We already have many events in planning that will raise vital funds and awareness for two worthy charities. Our Leicester office will continue our collaboration with Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, with our Leeds office choosing to partner with Candlelighters, a local charity supporting children fighting cancer.
