Your Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of a wide range of PLC-controlled production machinery used across the site. You’ll take ownership of both proactive and reactive maintenance activities to support operational efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out planned preventive maintenance tasks using the Idhammar CMMS system Responding quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns Supporting engineering projects, including machine installations and upgrades Identifying and addressing root causes of failures to drive continuous improvement Collaborating with OEMs on project-based work About You We’re looking for a multiskilled engineer with a strong technical foundation and a proactive approach. Whether your background leans more mechanical or electrical, training will be provided to help you excel in this role. Involved in project work for OEMs Completing on root cause and continuous improvement Project work including equipment upgrade & machine installation About you To become a maintenance engineer with our customer; you should be/have the following: Multiskilled experience with either mechanical or electrical bias as training can be given. Experience with factory maintenance would be beneficial, ideally from a manufacturing or process environment. Apprentice trained & hold a recognised level 3 qualification A mindset for continuous improvement and an aptitude for working proactively.
