Applications Design Engineer
Main Purpose of the Role
This role is an exciting mix of applications design and customer management.
This person will work with customers on bespoke applications and will use their engineering skills and knowledge of similar equipment to make sure that the customer's specific requirements are met. They will work with customers on one off and ongoing projects and will work closely with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Each product is completely bespoke so will involve a high level of creative capability.
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
• Mechanical Engineering Degree / HND
• Previous experience designing a complex manufactured product (1000 parts +)
• 3D design capability
• Working with the sales team to design from concept
• Using engineering knowledge to design bespoke complex products
• Working with customers to refine product
• Key part of project team to ensure fit for purpose solution
£35-40k + flexible working + pension + profit share
