The Company

With a number of facilities across the UK and a turnover in excess of 1 billion pounds this business (despite the recent economic challenges) has still achieved excellent organic growth, and 2022 is looking equally positive.
As a result of their ongoing success the business is looking to hire a Continuous Improvement Engineer.
The Role
As the continuous improvement engineer you will be responsible for:
- Leading all CI projects across the site
- Analyse data to investigate problematic areas
- Work closely with the operational teams to ensure best practice is followed
- Raise Capex projects
- Conducting training to keep on improving the engineering function
- Ensure a culture of lean is adhered throughout the site
- Giving support on electrical and mechanical engineering
- Working with the PLCs to make adjustments and modifications
- Support with New product equipment specification and set up
- Support production in driving labour efficiencies.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised engineering qualification minimum of a level 3 within electrical
- PLC knowledge to include basic programming
- Worked within in a manufacturing facility
- A positive can-do attitude
