This well-established Special Purpose Manufacturer are looking to expand their business having won several new projects. The company in the last three years have utilised the increased demand for technologically advanced machinery in several different industries and are winning larger and more exciting projects as time goes on. My client is looking to continue their enviable growth and are looking to engage technical contractors to join the team and help them deliver projects.
Day to day responsibilities:
Woking from schematic drawings, you will be tasked with complete build of the electric elements or SPM. These are large and complex builds with thousands of I/O’s per machine. You will normally work as part of a team of 4.
- Working from schematic drawings
- Building cabinets – double & triple doors
- Building & mounting back plates
- Drilling / tapping
- Soldering components
- Wiring up machines
- Creating networks
- Testing & I/O point checking
- Field wiring
- Trunking, Cable trays
- Test and commission
My client immediately requires candidates with the following experience:
- Can work from schematic drawings
- Can build control panels and cabinets from scratch
- Can solder components on
- Panel wiring
- Field wiring
- Test and commissioning
