Maintenance Electrician
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £30k per year up to £40k with Overtime
Shifts: Day Shifts 38.5 hrs per week
The Company
I am working with a global manufacturing company based in Sheffield that are looking for a maintenance electrician to join their team working day shifts.
The company is well established and successful having operated in their marketing for over 110 years you will be joining a team of up to 150 people.
They manufacture a range of equipment for the mining industry and supply equipment to over 50 countries internationally.
The company operates a wide range of machinary with ongoing investment this includes forging operations, heat treatment, shotblast CNC & manual machining, friction welding.
The Role
The maintenance electrician’s role will be a days weekday role and will be focused on responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns on machinery including fault finding and diagnostics.
There will be an element of performing planned maintenance.
Electrically you will be working on single and three phase systems, motors, drives, invertors, and basic PLC’s
You will be expected to do some mechanical work including working bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, belts and pulleys.
The Person
Be a fully qualified Electrician
NVQ Level 3
Have mechanical engineering skills
Have experience in a manufacturing production environment
Have experience in heavy industry
Be able to work overtime, sometimes at short notice
Be IT literate

£30k per year potential earnings with overtime of up to £40k (over time paid at a time and third)

7.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday
7.30am – 2.30pm Friday
