Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing
Based in Lincolnshire – 3 month rolling contract
Monday-Friday (6am to 2pm / 12am to 8pm)
Outside IR35 (ltd company) - £30 to £34 p/h
This market leading company in the manufacturing sector with over 10 sites across the UK and Ireland has a new opportunity available following the success of previous contracts. The business is now looking for a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to support the internal team and to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum whilst maintaining a variety of equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.
- Reactive maintenance will include fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines.
- Preventative maintenance – working to the PPM schedule for all the machinery on site
- Swapping components on a variety of equipment such as, conveyors, weighing machines, mixers, silos and more
- Electrical responsibilities will include fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase.
- Outdoor work will be involved in this contract
- Monday – Friday (6am to 2pm / 12am to 8pm)
The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.
- Previous electrical and mechanical experience within a factory environment – this could be manufacturing, packaging, waste management etc
- Electrical engineering qualification
- Mechanical engineering qualification
- Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical and mechanical components
The benefits of this Maintenance Engineer contract is the following.
- Established rolling 3-month contract
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Minimum of 40 hours per week available
- Outside IR35 (limited company)
