Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Packaging
Based in Southeast
Ad hoc basis available to be on call – Monday to Sunday
Outside IR35 (ltd company) - £35 to £45ph (Paid door to door)
This company is a family ran business and are privately owned, they specialise in service and maintenance of packaging machinery and have many clients in the UK. The business is now looking for a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to be on call to keep downtime across the sites a minimum whilst maintaining a variety of equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.
- To be available on call and travel to sites
- Attend Reactive breakdowns
- Swapping components on a variety of equipment involving packaging
- Electrical responsibilities will include fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase.
The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.
- Previous electrical and mechanical experience within a factory environment – this could be, packaging, or Pharmaceutical.
- Electrical engineering qualification
- Mechanical engineering qualification
- Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical and mechanical components
The benefits of this Maintenance Engineer contract is the following.
- Outside IR35 (limited company)
- Door to Door pay
- Call out charge
