Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Employment Type: Limited Company (LTD) role, outside of IR35

Rate: £34p/h

Contract Duration: 3 months rolling

The day-to-day responsibilities of the electrical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.

  • You will be part of a maintenance team which will be tasked to keep production up and running.
  • 90 percent will be reactive maintenance and 10 percent will be getting involved in some projects and helping to establish a PPM schedule.
  • You will be working on inverters, 3 phase motors, relays, sensors, switches, junction boxes, control panels, power supply.
  • You will be carrying out 3 phase installation, fault finding.
  • Basic PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley)

The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.

  • Experienced electrical maintenance engineer
  • Electrical engineering qualification
  • Mechanical engineering qualification
  • Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical systems
  • Experience with working on Allen Bradley PLC’s
  • Must be able to pass and drugs and alcohol test
