Location - Leeds
Salary - £41 000
Shifts - 12 HR Days & Nights

The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of drinks products, very well established and a market leader in what they do. They are the biggest in the business, turning over millions per year and working on drinks such as PEPSI, 7 UP and ROBINSONS.
Due to their continued growth they have been able to increase their team size within engineering and are looking for maintenance engineers to join their established team.
The Role
As the maintenance engineer, depending on whether you come in to Electrical or Multiskilled role, you will be responsible for all electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification work on production lines on site. This will include fault finding through to a competent level with a multimeter or by checking inputs and outputs, reading schematics and checking HMI screens.
Electrical components include sensors, relays, safety circuits, 3 phase motors, inverters, switches & panels. PLC experience will require checking of inputs/outputs, ladder logic, uploading and downloading programs.
Mechanical work will include fault finding, swapping like for like on components such as bearings, motors, belts, blades.
The work will be predominantly reactive maintenance.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND)
- Experience as a maintenance engineer
- A positive can-do attitude
- A food, packaging, FMCG or similar industrial background having worked in a factory setting
