About the company
We are supporting one of the country’s largest manufacturing groups at their flagship site in the north Leicestershire region. Established in the 60s and steeped in British history, our client employs over 2000 people across 15 manufacturing plants and are responsible for producing some of the UKs best known and well-loved products in their industry. This site which has been standing in the heart of the community for 13 years, is a large fully automated production facility which is targeted to produce 105 million units per annum, a target they successfully achieve year in year out.
The company have shown how robust they are, quickly recovering from the mist of the COVID19 pandemic, withstanding the pressure of the increased energy prices and standing strong in challenging times for the UK economy. In fact, the group have been able to invest in well over £130million across their plants since the start of 2023.
They are now looking for an experienced electrical maintenance supervisor to join their team.
About the role
As an electrical maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- The go to person on site for all electrical queries.
- Manage onsite electrical maintenance, including planned maintenance schedules and shut down periods.
- Organising and carrying out training for the electrical maintenance team.
- Ensuring compliance documentation is kept up to date.
- Management of electrical contractors.
- Carrying out root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects
- Hands on electrical maintenance activities.
About you
To be considered for this electrical maintenance supervisor role you should have the following:
- Experience working within a leadership capacity.
- Strong electrical knowledge, both practical and theoretical.
- Strong fault-finding experience.
- Experience working within a factory environment.
- The ability to train and develop electrical maintenance engineers.
- Be comfortable working in an industrial environment.
- Apprentice trained with a recognised electrical engineering qualification C&G, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
This role would suit, experienced maintenance supervisors, maintenance shift managers, maintenance team leaders, lead engineers.
