Job Title – Fabricator Fitter
Location – Leicester
Salary - £35,280, plus overtime (x1.5)
Shifts – Week 1 (7 – 4) / Week 2 (9 – 5) + alternate Saturday (7am – 11am)
Holidays – 21 days inclusive of Bank Holidays.
The Company
Our client specialises in sortation and separation of household and commercial recycling waste. With two sites across Leicester they are processing over 6000 tons of paper, cardboard, plastic, glass and metals per week.
Their collation site based near Junction 21 of the M1 houses a range of shredders, bailers and compactors where the unsorted recycling is bailed up ready to be sent to their fully automated separation plant a few miles away. This site is also home their fleet of HGV and Trailers used to collect from their Commercial customers.
The Role
The Fabricator Fitter will be responsible for the repair of the large container skips that are used to collect the recycling waste from their Commercial customers. The remainder of the time will be spent performing running repairs on the Balers, Shredders and Compactors.
The business is ideally looking for someone who has proven experience as a welder fabricator performing repairs to steelwork, and who is also happy and capable to assist with any fitting, stripping or repair of Mechanical machinery.
