ATA are working with a global water technologies business who are looking to recruit an experience field service engineer to join their growing team in the UK. Rich in heritage and established over 100 years ago, this market leading business provide safe and clean water solutions to municipalities and industrial sites across all corners of the globe and are currently responsible for recycling 15.5 billion gallons of wastewater a year.
Due to recent investment and being floated on the stock market, my client is now valued at a staggering £3bilion and have seen fantastic growth within their UK market last year turning over north of £40 million. As they grab a further foot hold within the market by winning new bids consistently, this is set to soar even further, promising a fantastic time to join the business.
About the role
As a field service engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of chemical dosage systems which are used to extract sludge and bacteria from dirty water ensuring it is clean and safe to use.
Further responsibilities will include.
- Mechanical fault finding.
- Electrical fault finding using a multimeter and PLC system.
- Reacting to breakdowns
- Working within a customer facing environment.
- Advising clients over the telephone.
About you
As a field service engineer working for this market leader you will need to have the following;
- Hold a relevant electrical qualification.
- Hold a valid & clear driver’s licence
- Ideally have experience within a similar field.
- Be a time served electrical engineer
- Be able to read and interpret PID and engineering drawings.
- Be comfortable working away from home.
