Established for over eight decades, their high-end Injection Moulding Machines are used in a multitude of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, White Goods and Food & Beverage Industries.

Thanks to this growth, the business are dramatically increasing the size of their Field Service and Installation Teams to help cope with the influx of orders from their customers.
About the role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns at customer’s sites on the businesses range of Injection Moulding Machines. This would involve full fault find and repair of equipment on both Electrical and Mechanical Systems, including PLC controls systems. This would include changing parts like for like, and performing resets on the PLC system through the HMI screen or via Laptop.
From time to time the Field Service Engineer would also assist the Installation and Commissioning Team with new Installs. Routine Service work is conducted by a separate Team of Service Technicians.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills or attributes:
- Must have a minimum of level 2 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship, etc)
- Must have previous experience Maintaining Plastics Machinery.
