Health and Safety Administrator

Location: Warrington
Pay: £14 p/h + £1.60 p/h holiday pay
Contract: 6 months with high likelihood of extension and permanent position

Do you have Health and Safety administration experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment?

Join a company renowned for its eco-friendly, high-tech solutions that avoid using chemicals. With rapid growth and multiple ongoing projects, they're seeking talented individuals to join their team.

Role Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks:

  • Update health and safety folders.
  • Communicate health campaigns and lessons learned.
  • Create and update health procedures and quality documentation.
  • Update the QMS (Quality Management System) database, risk assessments, and cost documentation.
  • Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

Weekly and Monthly Tasks:

  • Perform weekly fire alarm tests every Monday.
  • Check and maintain fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
  • Ensure welfare boards are up-to-date.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly health and safety checks.
  • Arrange facility contractors for inspections.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Health and Safety within a similar role.
  • Understanding of QMS databases and documentation processes.
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in health, safety, or quality sectors.
  • IOSH Health and Safety certification or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
