Industrial Spray Painter - Airframe Structures (Blackburn area)
Contract/Temp opportunity
£15.00 - £16.00p/h PAYE or £19.00 -£20.00p/h UMBRELLA (Inside IR35)
3-month contract, likely extension/on-going/T2P
I am working with a highly reputable organisation in the Blackburn area who are looking for Airframe/Industrial Spray Painters, to work on the composite and aluminium bodies & assemblies for the aerospace sector. There are several positions available immediately!
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Prepare and paint aircraft components
v Cleans and degreases parts using specified cleaning solutions
v Sand blast component parts as needed to prepare for painting
v Paint component parts using industrial painting tools, materials, and equipment as required
v Route components to the next stage
v Usage of Master Processes, Work Instruction Sheet (WIS) and the completion of job pack sign off documentation
v Working with composite material and aluminium
v Work to production plans and timescales, communication to Team Leaders etc
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Ideally min. NVQ L2 in industrial/manufacturing related sectors
v A proven paint sprayer
v A strong team player
v Experience within a high precision manufacturing environment
v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality.
