INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER
£25-30K + 5% OF SALARY BONUS + 8% PENSION + LIFE ASSURNACE + 25 DAYS HOLIDAY
THE COMPANY
With an average length of service of over 10 years, opportunities to join the sales team of this market leading manufacturer of rotating equipment don’t come along very often. Having grown by 20% last year the business is experiencing unrivalled demand for their products. As a result of this success the business has recently had to promote one of the existing team to a more senior role and hence, they are now looking to add another internal sales engineer to strengthen the team
THE ROLE
As an Internal Sales Engineer you will be:
- Office based
- Reacting to incoming enquiries, via phone and email
- Dealing with customers, solving problems, providing technical assistance
- Dealing with OEM’s, End Users, Contractors across Water, Power, Civils, LNG, Nuclear
- Putting quotes together
- Order entry through SAP
- Processing orders
- Liaising with other stakeholders within the business in the UK and abroad
- Joint visits with the Sales Manager with key customers
- Account management, building strong customer relationships on a commercial and technical level
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Internal Sales Engineer will need:
- A mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience in either field or internal sales
- Sold an engineered product
