Junior Project Engineer

£25k + healthcare + pension + training


Main Purpose of the Role
Work in a Projects department of a globally recognised group to carry out support for the design, manufacture and installation of complex systems. Excellent opportunity to get the experience and hands on training in a sustainable and lucrative industry.

The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
• Qualified in Mechanical engineering
• Placement or work experience
• 3D CAD user

Key Responsibilities
• Attend kickoff, expediting and pre-production meetings with clients

• Check drawings, procedures and calculations produced by team members for accuracy, tolerances

and presentation

• Interpret clients’ requirements, identifying and addressing design parameters and/or engineering

problems and ensuring solutions are implemented

• Evaluate, organise and prioritise work within each overall project schedule

• Develop standard/project-specific drawings, design calculations and procedures for the work to be

carried out
