ATA Recruitment has Teamed up with a well-established FMCG company that specialises in manufacturing. The company has multiple sites across the UK, providing a range of products to retailers.
The company has been successfully trading for over 20 years and has recently experienced high demands Due to the demands of the market, the company is now looking to recruit an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to join the team to add support and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department.
ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer from the manufacturing sector based in the Peterborough area
About the role
As a Lead maintenance engineer you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting with the management of the maintenance department.
- Supporting with the management of the CMMS
- Managing breakdowns and PPMS.
- Supporting with the training and development of other engineers.
- Oversee Maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Develop & Mentoring apprentices
- Liaising with on-site contractors
- The role will also have hands on responsibilities, including reacting to breakdowns, fault finding, completing ppms.
About you
As a Lead maintenance engineer you should have:
- An experienced Maintenance Engineer, working within a manufacturing environment (Ideally food).
- Previous experience in some form of leadership capacity.
- A good understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- A hands-on, team Player with strong communication skill.
- Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, City and guilds, HND, HNC)
