Logistics Coordinator / Administrator

6-month temp initially to permanent
£21k - £25k (£11p/h - £12.80p/h) DOE
Supply chain / Logistics / FMCG / Export freight
I am recruiting for a key client, who are a growing and developing organisation based in South Yorkshire. Supply Chain is critical, and being part of a global group, they supply their products to the Food/FMCG markets nationwide and overseas.
They ae now looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator/Administrator to join their team on a full time (temp to permanent) basis. This is an exciting and progressive opportunity for the successful candidate, with a certain permanent role after the initial contract basis.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
v Responsible for getting products out on time
v Running weekly transport meetings
v Make sure documentation is created accurately for international freight
v Booking transport
v Raising POs
v Liaising with internal departments most prevalently warehouse sales and supply chain
v Liaising with customers and clearing agents
v Utilising Sage 200 to ensure all documentation is produced accurately
v Creating despatch packs for warehouse
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Previous Logistics experience in a fast paced environment
v Managing an ERP system, Brexit issues and EROIs
v Excellent communications skills with both colleagues and clients
v Strong computer literacy – Microsoft, excel etc
v A team player, with a right first-time attitude, and strives for excellence
