Robot machine Operator, Newark-On-Trent
£11.15ph + 14% shift allowance for days and afternoons (£12.71) + 25% shift allowance for nights (£13.93). There is also a discretionary production bonus.
3 shift pattern 1 x week of 06:00 – 14:300 1 X Week 14:00 – 22:30 1 x Week 22:00 – 06:30
We are working with a leading construction materials group at their advanced manufacturing site in Newark-On-Trent, on the search for 3 robot machine operators to join their team. The European group have been residing in the UK since the early 90s and despite the impact of Brexit and Covid19 have committed their future to the country by increasing production capacity at their site in Nottinghamshire. The business, who can operate within the civils and commercial sector manufacture 1000s of meters of their product each week from their state of art production facility.
About the role
As a robot machine operator, you will be responsible for the setting and operating of automated robot welding machinery within a busy industrial production environment.
Further responsibilities include:
- Using hand tools to complete basic front-line maintenance
- Upkeep of records and reports
- Upkeep of the machines
- Following 5s
- Following health and safety practices.
To be considered for this robot machine operator vacancy you should have previous experience operator any form of machinery from a manufacturing environment. Due to the nature of the work ideally this will have been from an industrial environment, which is loud & dirty. You should be happy doing repetitive work and have experience using hand tools to complete very basic front line maintenance.
