Electrical Maintenance Engineer - 3-month contract
Location: County Durham
Rate: £30.00 (Limited Co. outside IR35)
Shifts: Rotating 6-2/2-10/10-6 Mon-Fri

I am recruiting exclusively for a key client based in County Durham. They are a leading UK manufacturer to the furniture marketplace. They are looking for a Maintenance Electrician, to assist with general maintenance work covering production and working on varied complex machinery.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Reactive maintenance with PPM in between, on all electrical aspects of machinery, robotic handling and capital equipment including palletisers and cranes – fault find and repair
v Fixing fast paced industrial production CNC, drilling and cutting machinery (control panels, circuits, 3 phase power, wiring, PLC faults etc)
v Working safely is paramount, and make recommendations for improvements
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3 (certificates required)
v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
v Strong Health and Safety awareness
v Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
v Come from fast paced, manufacturing production environment (FMCG, industrial etc)
v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors
v Reliable and punctual
