Maintenance ELectrician
3-month contract (likely extension)
Location: Morley /Dewsbury / Leeds / Huddersfield / West Yorkshire
Rate: £30.00p/h (Limited Co.)
Shifts: Rotating 6-2/2-10/8-6 (nights over 4) Mon-Fri / OT available

I am recruiting exclusively for a key client based in West Yorkshire. They are a leading UK manufacturer kitchen & bedroom marketplace. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer electrically biased, to assist with general maintenance work covering the whole plant and varied complex machinery.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Reactive maintenance as well as PPM’s (70/30 split)
v Working on all electrical aspects of machinery, robotic handling and capital equipment including palletisers and cranes
v Conducting full fault find and repair as required
v Fixing fast paced industrial production and CNC machinery
v Repairing aspects such as control panels, circuits, 3 phase power, motors, wiring, transformers, sensors, relays, PLC faults – inputs and outputs etc
v Working safely is paramount, and make recommendations for improvements
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3 (certificates required)
v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
v Strong Health and Safety awareness
v Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
v Experience within fast paced manufacturing & production environments
v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors
v Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
v Require your own tools
