Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Medway
Salary: £46,636 + Overtime
Shifts: Monday to Friday (Days and Nights)
Benefits: Overtime + Training + 11% Pension + No Weekends + Every other Friday off

My Client are an industry leading manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK and a turnover over £70m annually. This site in particular has a strong and successful Maintenance Engineering team that can boast some of the best retention in the area with an average length of service of well over 15 years! In fact the only reason why these roles have come about is because of a couple retirees that have left over the last few months.
With the wealth of experience on site within the engineering team, this presents a great opportunity to join a business that has a growing order book and a skilled maintenance team that look to share knowledge with each other!
The Role:
The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following:
- Reactive and Planned Maintenance on all production machinery including Conveyors, Mixers, Silos and more
- Working electrically on Three Phase Motors, Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors,
- Mechanically working with: Bearings, Rollers, Shafts, Hydraulic systems, Chains, Pulleys, Gearboxes
- Working in a team of Engineers on shift that get on well and have a laugh throughout the day
- Working in an automated environment, Fault Finding to Input Output level (They also have access to code so if you can interrogate PLCs, Modify or Programme code you would be able to use that skillset)
The Candidate:
The right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have:
- A Recognised Engineering Qualification
- Experience working in a factory environment as a maintenance engineer
- Have confident fault finding skills electrically and mechanically
- A pro-active approach with Maintenance and work well within a team
